Update From Terri Bowers

Hey Everyone!!!

So here is the scoop.
Fresh off the press...
September 17, 2022 will be our informal "formal" 40+1 reunion. We don't have a venue yet and will most likely use word of mouth after a place is chosen. These days this seems to be working out the best for other classes as people don't like to commit with tickets. Meetha has an old class list but I don't think we are planning to hire a company to help track people down. Cathy Degnan Massessa will be in Brick in May for a week. If anyone is local please reach out and help us scout a fun venue.
I think Jenks Inlet would be fun. Riverrock, Belmar... We can use all the help and ideas we can get so start thinking and spreading the word... There sure were alot of us!!!
This will be fun. I'm already looking forward to catching up with people to plan it!!
Please come, everyone!!!
Feel free to post here, pm message myself Meetha Pai Gould , Cathy Degnan Masessa , Kara Bradley Ertle , Sherilyn Reitemeyer-Piantadosi , Lori Mueller Martz , R Kurt Meier III , Carol Borshowsky , Bill Porter , Jack Connolly , Keith Ortner , Roy Hersey , Michael Monda , Daniel Newman , Craig Batzel , Eric Lehnes and it goes on and on with your help.
Start tagging your friends.
This will be a team effort and long overdue!

Random thoughts

Some  random thoughts

I know many people would like to do a reunion for what would have been our 35 year.   I wish I had the time to try to put something together.   It turns out life has planned my next 2 trips to NJ   one the week on Oct 27 the year one April 27 next year.     I am still working on how we can do this and will get the info to the proper people to see what we can do worse case we have 40 coming up.  Everyone stay healthy and happy until then.

I was thinking about the class favorites etc and thanks to facebook and other means we have all managed to keep in touch with most if not all of the class.

So often I think of the good people we lost sara, bob, brian, lisa, maureen, judy, gary, ira, chris michael, patrick, joseph, jimmy, marie, joe, gregg, chester, anna, timothy, robert, billy and mike.  I am sure i missed some.

So much water under the bridge since 1981, it seems fitting that i let go of my last piece of the past.   I will not post the name(s)   but to those of you who tortured me with the milk bone dog biscuits i forgive all of you even the one who passed.   I held onto that anger for too long.  That anger drove me for years to overcome so many things, but I no longer need it.   Working within the Opiate recovery facility has shown me what happens when we hold onto the bad energy.

I was bullied as a child so when i see these school shootings I can understand what drives some of these kids over the edge.  We were lucky growing up there was no social media to make the impact so much worse.  Social media is a blessing and a curse in one package.    Please use it wisely.

The simple moral to my thoughts is this.  Life is too short don't waste a single day.  Make sure you make time for the people in your life.  Please never hold a grudge for too long it only hurts you in the end. I truly believe that we can change the world around us with one act of kindness at a time, granted its a slow and painful course.

Life is like a journey on a train

Life is like a journey on a train…with stations…with changes of routes and with accidents!
At birth we boarded the train and met our parents, and we believe they will always travel on our side. However, at some station our parents will step down from the train, leaving us on this journey alone.
As time goes by, other people will board the train; and they will be significant i.e. our siblings, friends, children, and even the love of our life. Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum. Others will go so unnoticed that we don’t realize that they vacated their seats!

This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells.

Success consists of having a good relationship with all passengers…requiring that we give the best of ourselves.

The mystery to everyone is: “We do not know at which station we ourselves will step down. So we must live in the best way—love, forgive, and offer the best who we are.”
It is important to do this because when the time comes for us to step down and leave our seat empty—we should leave behind beautiful memories for those who will continue to travel on the train of life.
I wish you a joyful journey for the coming year on the train of life. Reap success and give lots of love.

More importantly, thank God for the journey!
Lastly, I thank you for being one of the passengers on my train!
