 Gary Horan passed away thursday October 21, 2010. I just read this early this morning, I guess I somehow knew it could happen, but this was a hard death to handle. I had'nt seen Gary in years. I was passing thru Philadelphia when he was the hospital there and didn't know he was there or I would have stopped. I met Gary in Mrs. Lastella's AP Chemistry class, It was nice he and Mark were kind to me considering the class was full or the smartest kids in our class. Three doctors, one dentist, and i am sure many others went on to great things in life. I remember one conversation pretty clearly, about Billy Joel and the Glass Houses album and how both Mark and Gary had little respect for the album at the time. I was luck enough to remain friends with both of them. I even got to hang out with them at Senior Prom. They fixed me up with Lenny, they didnt have to help me but they did. I was lucky enough to catch up with Gary on Facebook years later. There are some people who touch your life and change it for the better. I was so hoping that since he had battled the cancer for over a year, we would have seen a different result. So my friend Goodbye and safe journey.
